About This Skill Sprint

Mouse & Keyboard Heroes introduces young learners to the essential skills needed to use a computer confidently. Learners practise through guided activities, games and hands-on challenges in a supportive classroom environment.

What Learners Will Practise

  • Mouse movement and control
  • Clicking, double-clicking and right-clicking
  • Drag-and-drop skills
  • Recognising and using important keyboard keys
  • Basic typing and keyboard confidence
  • Completing simple computer challenges
  • Using a computer independently and safely

Course Format

Duration: 2 weeks

Lessons: Four 90-minute practical lessons

Total training: 6 hours

Class size: Minimum 2 and maximum 8 learners

Learning style: Guided, hands-on computer activities

Course outcome: One completed digital project or challenge

Certificate: Certificate of Completion included

Who Is This Course For?

This Skill Sprint is designed for children aged 7–9 who are beginning to use computers or who need more confidence with basic mouse and keyboard skills.
