About This Course

Intermediate Digital Workplace Skills builds on basic computer knowledge and develops the practical digital skills used in modern offices, businesses, education and professional environments.

Learners work across Microsoft Office applications, cloud tools, email, digital design and AI-assisted productivity before combining their skills in an integrated workplace project.

Course Modules

Module 1 — Windows File Management & Workplace Productivity

Strengthen Windows 11 navigation, file organisation and efficient workplace computer use.

Module 2 — Microsoft Word Intermediate

Create structured, professional documents using intermediate formatting, layout and document productivity features.

Module 3 — Microsoft Excel Intermediate

Work with formulas, functions, organised data, formatting, tables, charts and practical workplace spreadsheets.

Module 4 — Microsoft PowerPoint Intermediate

Design clearer, more professional presentations using effective layouts, visual content and presentation techniques.

Module 5 — Canva for Workplace Design

Create practical workplace graphics and professional visual communication using Canva.

Module 6 — Microsoft Outlook

Develop stronger workplace email, organisation and communication skills using Microsoft Outlook.

Module 7 — OneDrive & Cloud Collaboration

Store, organise, share and collaborate on files using OneDrive and cloud-based workflows.

Module 8 — AI for Office Productivity

Use generative AI responsibly to support workplace planning, drafting, organisation and productivity while understanding the need to verify AI output.

Module 9 — Integrated Digital Workplace Project

Apply skills from across the programme in a practical project combining multiple workplace applications and digital tasks.

Entry may be through successful completion of the Impact I.T. Academy Basic programme or a satisfactory skills placement assessment.
